Maria T. Adameit, 83, entered into eternal rest on Sunday, January 9, 2022, at Harlingen Medical Center in Harlingen, Texas. She was born on October 6, 1938, in Michoacan, Mexico to Rafael Covarrubias and Josephina Romero.
Maria was a loving wife and mother until her last day on Earth. She was a life-long resident of Willacy County and lived in Willamar for 60 years.
She is preceded in death by her husband, Robert C. Adameit, parents, Rafael Covarrubias and Josephina Romero, son, Peter Adameit, and her brothers and sisters. Maria is survived by sons, William R, Adameit from Lyford, John C. Adameit (Alicia+) from Lyford, Michael A. Adameit (Sigrid) from Raymondville, Robert C. Adameit (Rebecca) from Sebastian, daughters, Lydia Guedry from Raymondville, Janette Adameit from Lyford, Josephina Cook (Philip Cook) from Louisiana, Enriqueta K. Adameit (Michael Sierra), Ellen M. Adameit (Damien Bravo) from McAllen, brothers, Vincente Romero Covarrubias, Juana Salazar Covarrubias from Michoacan, Mexico, grandchildren, Selena Adameit, Kasandra Adameit, Peter Adameit, Michael Adameit, John Guedry, Elizabeth Guerra, Robert Guerra, Jaime Lee Adameit, Daniel Rey Hernandez, Alysha Moreno, Bo Moreno, Ethan Moreno, Annika Miles, Edward Miles Jr., Jonas Bravo, Brody Bravo, and Olive Bravo, and 15 great grandchildren.
A memorial service will be held on Monday, January 17, 2022, at 11:00 A.M. at Good Shepherd Funeral Home.
