Maria L Barrientos

Maria Luisa Barrientos, 83, entered into eternal rest surrounded by her loving family on Sunday, February 6, 2022, in Harlingen, Texas. She was born on January 18, 1939, to Jose Luis De La Fuente and Maria Dora Rios De La Fuente.

She is survived by her husband, Jose Antonio Barrientos, sons, Baldomero Barrientos (Angela), Rigoberto Barrientos (Eva), David Barrientos, and Jose Antonio Barrientos Jr. (Mary), daughters, Neri Halil (Abed), Mireya B. Ruiz, and Lupita Segura (Jose), brothers, Julian De La Fuente (Maricela), and Jose Luis De La Fuente (Leticia), Sisters, Rosalva De La Fuente, Guadalupe Idalia De La Fuente (Almaguer Jimenez), Maria Antonia De La Fuente (Reynaldo Narvaiz), and Dolores De La Fuente (Emilio Garcia) and many grandchildren and great grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her parents, Jose Luis De La Fuente and Maria Dora Rios De La Fuente, and brothers, Macedonio De La Fuente and Francisco De La Fuente.

Visitation will begin on Tuesday, February 8, 2022, from 2:00 P.M. until 9:00 P.M. with a rosary at 7:00 P.M. Funeral service will be held on Wednesday, February 9, 2022, at 10:00 A.M. at the Prince of Peace Catholic Church in Lyford, with interment to follow at Lyford Evergreen Cemetery.
