Maria Del Rosario DeLeon

Maria Del Rosario DeLeon, 90, entered eternal rest on Friday, February 21, 2025, in Raymondville, TX, surrounded by her loving family. She was born September 17, 1934, in Los Ramones Nuevo Leon, Mexico, to Agapito Rios and Maria Antonia Bustillos.

She is survived by her daughter, Maria Del Rosario (Leonel) Garza, her grandchildren, Criselda (Hector) Rodriguez, Leonel (Delma) Garza, Saul (Veronica) Garza, Naaman (Mariana) Garza, Eli (Luz Aidee) Garza, Karina (Reymundo) Pena, her great grandchildren, Hector Gerardo Rodriguez Jr., Criselda R. Vela, Shelby Lee Garza, Leonel Garza III, Levi Zachary Garza, Kevin Garza, Gabriela Garza, Naaman Garza Jr., Rosario Elisa Garza, Eli Garza Jr., Reynaldo Abiel Pena, and Rolando Adriel Pena, and one great great grandchild, Benjamin Ray Vela II.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Agapito Rios and Maria Antonia Bustillos, Cenobio Rios, Fidel Rios, Agapito Rios, Josefina Trevino, Salome Rodriguez and Ramona Zamora.

Honored to serve as pallbearers are Saul Garza, Naaman Garza, Eli Garza, Reymundo Pena, Hector Gerardo Rodriguez Jr., and Leonel Garza III.

Visitation will be held on Monday, February 24, 2025, from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. with a holy rosary at 7 p.m. at Good Shepherd Funeral Home.  Funeral mass will be held on Tuesday, February 25, 2025, at 10 a.m. at Prince of Peace Catholic Church. Interment will follow to her final place of rest at the Raymondville Memorial Park Cemetery.
