Maria Luisa De La Garza

Maria Luisa De La Garza, 92, entered into eternal rest on Tuesday, April 11, 2023, in Raymondville, Texas.  Maria was born August 19, 1930, in Mercedes, TX, to Francisco and Lucia F. Sifuentes.

Maria Luisa is survived by sons; Rene (Ida) De La Garza, Frank (Teresa) De La Garza, daughters; Elvia (Saul) Cantu, Norma (Rene) Gonzalez, brothers; Maggarito Sifuentes, Ernesto Sifuentes, Domacio Sifuentes, and Freddie Sifuentes, Grandchildren; Amy, Johnny, Richard, Justin, Randy, Becky, Cody, and Keith. She is preceded in death by her parents; Francisco and Lucia F. Sifuentes, husband; Arturo De La Garza, and sisters: Altagracia Hinojosa, Concepcion Posas, Ramona Perez, Herminia Alvarez, Delia Sifuentes, and Francisca Flores

A viewing will be held on Wednesday, April 12, 2023, from 2:00 P.M. until 9:00 P.M. at Good Shepherd Funeral Home with a prayer service beginning at 7:00 P.M. A funeral service will be held on Thursday, April 13, 2023, at 10:00 A.M. at Good Shepherd Funeral Home. A funeral procession will follow to her final resting place at the Raymondville Memorial Park Cemetery.

Honored to serve as pallbearers are Richard, James, Randy, Cody, Keith, and Tyrelle.
