Maria G. Rebeles, 67, entered into eternal rest on Monday, October 4, 2021 at the home of her son, surroundedd by her family, after a lengthy battle with cancer. She was born on November 18, 1953 in Mexico to Aurelio Guerra and Guadalupe Ozuna Guerra.
She began her career in education and went on to work in sales until her retirement in 2006. She then devoted her life to her husband, children, and grandchildren. She will always live in our hearts.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Aurelio and Guadalupe, granddaughter, Kayzely A. Rebeles, father-in-law, Baltazar Rebeles, and brother-in-law, Pedro “Pete” Rebeles. She is survived by her husband, Arturo Rebeles, sons, Jaime A. Rebeles and Mark A. (Brittany R.) Rebeles, grandchildren, Miguel A. Guerra and Nickolas A. Rebeles, brothers, Juan Guerra and Aurelio (Delia) Guerra Jr., and sisters, Felipa Gonzalez and Lupita Guerra.
Viewing was held on Tuesday, October 5, 2021 from 3:00 P.M. until 9:00 P.M. and will resume today, Wednesday, October 6, 2021 from 9:00 A.M. until 9:00 P.M. with a rosary both nights at 7:00 P.M. at Good Shepherd Funeral Home. A funeral mass will be held on Thursday, October 7, 2021 at 10:00 A.M. at St. Anthony’s Catholic Church. A funeral procession will follow to her final place of rest in the Raymondville Memorial Park Cemetery.
Honored to serve as pallbearers will be Ben Guerra, Agustin Guerra, Juan Pardo, Armando Rebeles, Alejandro Rebeles, and Michael Leal.
