Maria (Robledo) Reyes Salazar

Maria Reyes Salazar Robledo, 74, entered eternal rest on Monday, March 3, 2025, in Mission, TX, surrounded by her loving family. She was born January 6, 1951, in Mexico, to Marin Salazar Barrios and Maria Gertrudis Robledo.

She is survived by her sons, Jose Daniel Contreras and Carlos Contreras, her daughters, Maria Enedia Contreras and Teresa Contreras, her brother, Leonides Salazar, her sisters, Blanca Salazar, Juanita Salazar, Guadalupe Salazar, Maria Salazar, and Francisca Salazar, her grandchildren, Oscar Ruiz, Lizbeth Ruiz, Blanca Ruiz, Esmeralda Perez, Pedro Perez Jr., Juan Jose Vasquez, Jonathan Vasquez, Jovani Vasquez, Alondra Vasquez, Daniela Contreras, Mariana Contreras, Kristal Contreras, Daniel Contreras, Carlos Contreras Jr., Alexis Contreras, Eduardo Contreras, and Camila Contreras, great grandchildren, Oscar Ruiz Jr., Osmar Ruiz, Fernando Trujillo, Omar Ruiz, and Oliver Daniel Trujillo.

She is preceded in death by her husband, Daniel Contreras, and her parents, Marin Salazar and Gertrudis Robledo.

Honored to serve as pallbearers are Jose Daniel Contreras, Carlos Contreras, Daniel Contraras, Alexis Contreras, Juan Vasquez and Jonathon Vasquez.

Visitation will be held on Wednesday, March 5, 2025, from 10 a.m. until 9 p.m. with a holy rosary at 7:30 p.m. at Good Shepherd Funeral Home. Funeral mass will be held on Thursday, March 6, 2025, at 2 p.m. at St. Patrick’s Catholic Church in Lasara.  Interment will follow to her final place of rest next to her loving husband at the Lasara Cemetery.
