Maria Santana Obituary

Maria Ines Santana, a beloved mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and friend, passed away peacefully surrounded by love. She was a woman of strength, kindness, and unwavering devotion to her family.

Maria Ines was the heart of her home. Her love was felt through her warm embraces, her comforting words, and the countless memories she created with those she loved. She had a gentle spirit, a caring soul, and a smile that brought comfort to everyone around her. Family meant everything to her, and she poured her heart into caring for each generation that followed her.

She will be remembered for her wisdom, her patience, and the way she always put others before herself. Her legacy lives on through the values instilled, the stories she shared, and the love she gave so freely.

Maria Ines is survived by her brothers, Daniel Martinez, Felipe Martinez, Antonio Martinez, Margarito Martinez, and Guadalupe Martinez; her sons, Fernando Santana (Maria D.), Ramon D. Santana, and Marco Antonio Santana (Brittany); her daughters, Concepcion Ortiz (Roberto), Trinidad Santana, San Juanita Carranza (Jose), Maria Ines Yebra (Abel), Cornelia Garza (Roel), Jessica Cadena (Edward); along with her many grandchildren, great-grandchildren, great great-great grandkids and extended family, all of whom will forever cherish her memory.

She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Ramon Santana Jr.; her sisters, Elida Villa, Concepcion Martinez, and Leonor Martinez; her daughter, Maria Amalia Olivares; her sons, Ramon Santana III and Jesus Santana; her grandchildren, Jacklyn Santana, Emmanuel Martinez, Tony Santana, and Patricia Saldivar; who prepared the way, welcoming her into heaven with love and now reunited through God’s grace.

Though she is no longer with us, her love will continue to guide and protect her family from above. She will be deeply missed, lovingly remembered, and eternally at peace.

Honored to serve as pallbearers are Ciro Munoz, Jesus Santana Jr., Elifonzo Martinez III, Juan Miguel Soto, Christopher Santana, and Edward Miguel Cadena. Honorary pallbearer is Marco Antonio Santana.
