Mary Alma Nieto, 67, entered eternal rest on Wednesday, October 1, 2025, surrounded by her family and friends at Valley Baptist Medical Center. Mary was born on June 19, 1958, in Longmont, CO, to Francisco Chavez and Antonia Hernandez Chavez.
She is survived by her loving husband, Ricardo Nieto, Sr., her sons, Jesus Daniel Rincon (Zulma), Eleazar Rincon Jr., Aaron Rincon (Alma), Ricardo Nieto Jr. (Julie), and Cody Lamar Nieto, her daughter, Elizabeth Ann Rincon (Juan), her grandchildren, Jesus Jr., Yazmine, Daniela, Joshua, Evaeh, Eli Shiloh, Emme, Eve, Juan, James, Jennifer, Jezebel, Alonzo, Isabella, and Michelle, her great grandchildren, Jade and Isabella, her brothers, Richard Chavez (Nelda), Ruben Chavez, and Francisco Chavez, Jr. (Annalisa) and her sisters, Minerva Duron (Ricky+), Hilda Contreras (Lolo), and Mary Lou Nava (Jose).
She is preceded in death by her parents, Francisco Chavez and Antonia Hernandez Chavez.
Honored to serve as pallbearers are Juan Fidencio Serrato, Eli Shiloh Rincon, Steven Mesa, Dusty Nieto, Joseph Chavez, Alonzo Rincon, and Joshua Rincon
Viewing will be held on Saturday, October 4, 2025, from 2 p.m. until 9 p.m. and will resume on Sunday, October 5, 2025, from 1 p.m. until 9 p.m. with a prayer service at 6 p.m. at Good Shepherd Funeral Home. Funeral service will be held on Monday, October 6, 2025, at 10 a.m. at Good Shepherd Funeral Home. Interment will follow to her final place of rest at the Raymondville Memorial Park Cemetery.
