Miguel C. Gomez, 89, entered into eternal rest on December 14, 2024, in Harlingen, TX. He was born on July 5, 1935, to Clemente and Carmen Gomez.
He is survived by his loving wife, Hilaria J. Gomez, his sons, Mike Gomez (Irma), Victor Gomez (Sandra), and Martin Gomez (Susie), his daughters, Idalia Gomez and Letty Castillo (Paul), his brothers, Baltazar Gomez and Joe Gomez, his sisters, Juanita Rodriguez and Mary Soto, his grandchildren, Joseph, Anthony, Adrian, LySandra, Davin, Melany, Christifer, Matthew, Ryan, Victoria, Deniva, Jovan, Francisca, and Ivan, and by his great grandchildren, Elena, Ethan, Abraham, Aiden, Hector, Marcus, Marceline, Xander, and Rayden.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Clemente and Carmen Gomez, his sister, Maria De Jesus, and his uncle, Jose Reyes Gomez.
Honored to serve as pallbearers are his grandsons, Joseph, Anthony, Adrian, Davin, Christifer, Matthew, Ryan, Jovan. Serving as honorary pallbearer is Ivan.
Viewing was held on Tuesday, December 17, 2024, from 2 p.m. until 9 p.m. at Good Shepherd Funeral Home and will resume on Wednesday, December 18, 2024, from 9 a.m. until 9 p.m. with a holy rosary at 7 p.m. at Good Shepherd Funeral Home. Funeral mass will be held on Thursday, December 19, 2024, at 1 p.m. at Prince of Peace Catholic Church. Interment will follow to his final place of rest at the Sebastian Cemetery.
