Ninfa T. Garza, 78, of Raymondville, Texas, gained her angel wings on Sunday, December 24, 2023, at Valley Baptist Medical Center in Harlingen, Texas. She was born on February 25, 1945, in Raymondville, Texas to Jesus Trevino and Maria Trevino.
She is survived by her daughters, Rosie Garza (Joe), Lisa (Segundo) Garza, Dalia (Manuel) Villa, Diana (John) Buenavista, and Irma Garza, sons, Daniel Jr. (Marisela) Garza and Michael (Senette) Garza, 15 grandchildren, 15 great grandchildren, five great-great grandchildren, five fur grandbabies, sisters, Hortencia (Fidel) Elizondo of Raymondville, Texas and Guadalupe Trevino of Aurora, Illinois, brother, Jose (Sylvia) Trevino of Austin, Texas, and many nieces and nephews.
She is preceded in death by her loving husband of 47 years, Daniel Garza Sr., her parents, Maria and Jesus Trevino, brother, Braulio Trevino, and nephew, Fidel Elizondo IV.
Viewing was held on Thursday, December 28, 2023, from 12:00 P.M. until 9:00 P.M. and resumed on Friday, December 29, 2023, from 9:00 A.M. until 9:00 P.M. with a prayer service at 7:00 P.M. at Good Shepherd Funeral Home. A chapel service was held on Saturday, December 30, 2023, at 10:00 A.M. at Good Shepherd Funeral Home. A funeral procession followed to her final place of rest next to her husband in the Raymondville Memorial Park Cemetery.
Honored to serve as pallbearers were Samuel Ethan Garza, Jayden Garza, Jacob Garza, Michael Hernandez, Ricardo Rosas, and Daniel Garza III.
Funeral arrangements were entrusted to the caring hands of Good Shepherd Funeral Home, 1157 W. Hidalgo Ave., Raymondville, Texas 78580.
