Norma Lopez

Norma Lopez, 69, entered into eternal rest on Monday, October 18, 2021. She was born on August 27, 1952 in Raymondville, Texas to Reyes Silguero and Beatrice Alvarez Silguero.

She is preceded in death by her father, Reyes Silguero and brothers, Abelardo Silguero and Alberto Silguero. She is survived by her mother, Beatrice Silguero, son, Steve (Eliza) Lopez, daughters, Melissa (Eddie) Gracida and Amanda (Butch) Tamez, grandchildren, Stoni Gracida, Miranda Lopez, Butch Tamez Jr., Chloe Gracida, Layla Tamez, Arianny Tamez, and Jordan Tamez, great grandson, Nathaniel Gracida, brother, Johnny Silguero, and sister, Nettie Silguero.

Viewing was held on Thursday, October 21, 2021 from 1:00 P.M. until 9:00 P.M. and resumed Friday, October 22, 2021 from 9:00 A.M. until 9:00 P.M. with a rosary at 7:00 P.M. at Good Shepherd Funeral Home. A chapel service was held on Saturday, October 23 at 10:00 A.M. at Good Shepherd Funeral Home. A funeral procession followed to her final place of rest in the Raymondville Memorial Park Cemetery.

Honored to serve as pallbearers were Steve Lopez, Eddie Gracida, Martin Tamez, Butch Tamez, Butch Tamez Jr., Chris Ramos, Eric De Alba, Martin Tamez Jr., and Fidel Tamez III. Honorary pallbearers were Jordan Tamez and Nathaniel Gracida.

Funeral arrangements were entrusted to the caring hands of Good Shepherd Funeral Home, 1157 W. Hidalgo Ave., Raymondville, TX 78580.
