Oralia C. Lopez

Oralia C. Lopez, 84, entered eternal rest on Thursday, May 8, 2025, with family by her side. She was born on June 10, 1940, in La Feria, Tx, to Felipe Castaneda Sr. and Angelita Reyes.

She is survived by daughters, Patricia Lopez, from La Feria, TX, and Ida L. Trevino, from Raymondville, TX., her brother, Alberto (Sylvia) Castaneda Sr., from La Feria, TX, her grandchildren, Steven, Jason, Victoria, Alexandra, Jacob, Melissa, Crystal, and Sandra, her great grandchild, Cruz Joel.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Felipe Castaneda Sr., and Angelita Reyes, her husband, Jose A. Lopez, and her son, Joel Lopez.  

Honored to serve as pallbearers are Steven P. Trevino, Jason Trevino, Nathaniel Cavazos, and Albert Castaneda Jr.

Viewing was held on Monday, May 12, 2025, from 12 p.m. until 9 p.m. with a holy rosary at 7 p.m. at Good Shepherd Funeral Home. Funeral mass was held on Tuesday, May 13, 2025, at 10 a.m. at Our Lady of Gudalupe Catholic Church. All services concluded at that time.
