Oralia Lala (Tamez) Wright

Oralia “Lala” Tamez Wright, 74, entered into eternal rest on Wednesday, June 14, 2023. She was born on June 12, 1949, in Elsa, TX to Ernesto Tamez and Rosa Silva Tamez.

She is survived by her son, Paul Jesse Ibarra; daughter, Felicita Rodriguez Wright; sister, Norma Dickey Tamez; niece, Isabella Rose Dickey; grandchildren, Elexis Gonzalez, Dominique Rodriguez, Joe Rodriguez II, David Rodriguez, Isaiah Rodriguez, Mia Rodriguez, Casanova Rodriguez, Joe Rodriguez III, Victoria Rodriguez, Nevaeh Rodriguez, Jonah Rodriguez, and Dallas Velez Wright; great grandchildren, David Rodriguez, Messiah Rodriguez, Zaylea Rodriguez, Coraline Rodriguez. She is preceded in death by her parents Ernesto Delarosa Tamez Sr. and Rosa Silva Tamez; Ernesto Tamez II, Linda Tamez, Ernesto Tamez Jr., and her husband, David Earl Wright.

Funeral Service will be held at Good Shepherd Funeral Home Monday, June 19, 2023, at 2 P.M. A funeral procession will follow to her final place of rest at the Lasara Memorial Cemetery.
