Patricia Busse Obituary

Patricia Ann Busse passed away on January 30, 2023.  She was born on June 19, 1941 to Arthur and Josephine Bush and was born and raised in Raymondville, Texas. She married her best friend and love of her life Dickie Busse on August 5, 1961.  Pat was a loving Aunt, Godmother, sister, and cousin. She attended Raymondville High School and graduated in May of 1954.

Pat had several jobs before settling in and loved being a bookkeeper for a local business for many years before retiring.  Her hobbies consisted of baking, painting on deer horn, shirts and different crafts, card playing, crafting, and selling at different craft shows around the Valley and Kingsville area.  She will always be remembered for her love of laughter, love, devotion to her husband, and get-togethers with her friends. Pat was always a devoted aunt, sister, cousin, and friend.  She never had children of her own but treated her closest nieces and goddaughters, Barbie Wymore and Beverly McCue, like her own, she was their second mother, and Beverly’s children, Dylan and Cross McCue, she always looked at as her own grandchildren.

Pat was a member of the St. Anthony Catholic Church for her entire life and served on the Alter Society where she held many positions such as president.  She was an avid bowler for 36 years, she bowled locally, state, and nationwide.

Her greatest joy was caring for her baby sister, Mary Bush. The proof of her love showed when she was with her and her nieces and nephews.  Wherever Pat went she was the life of the party, making people laugh was a pleasure to experience. Pat braved many storms that came her way even until the end. Her love and dedication to her husband never wavered. She will forever be remembered with admiration, love and selfless devotion.

Patricia Ann Busse is preceded in death by her husband, Dickie Busse; beloved niece, Barbie Wymore; parents, Arthur “Red” and Josephine Bush; brothers, Joe and Bill Bush; and sister, Mary Bush.

She is survived by her sister, Charlotte M. Wymore; best friend & caregiver, Irma Perrin; nieces and nephews, Kim Walker, Tim Bush, Jimmy Bush, Cathy Mickelson, Patty Stapp, Tom Bush, Dian Busse, Artie Bush, Beverly McCue, Connie Moose and Carey Ziegler and many more that came from these.
