Patricia Saldivar Obituary

Patricia “Patty” Saldivar, of Raymondville, TX was called home to God on April 25, 2023. She was only 45 years old. Patty was born in Harlingen, TX to Trinidad Santana and Alfonso Saldivar Jr. Her family and those who know her are deeply saddened by her passing but find comfort in knowing that she did not suffer, nor will she have to suffer any physical obstacles or ailments in this life.

Patty lived a life full of love, smiles, and laughter and was the center of her family’s life. She loved singing and dancing, she loved the loud clicking of a toy gun, she looked at herself in her play mirrors and always gave herself kisses in it, she loved to give hand and cheek kisses to everyone she loved, she was a big foodie and always woke up to the sound of a wrapper or a can of soda opening, she was girly in her own right and loved accessories and having her nails painted and lipstick put on, she was also super sneaky and sly when we all least expected it. Patty had a keen memory and if you walked by at just the right time, you were going to get it with her mirror, her hand, or her little claws. She had a death grip that only those who were on the receiving end of know about. She will be missed immensely, but God obviously wanted to take our sweet angel on earth home to give her wings to walk through the heavens with all the guns and mirrors her big heart could ever desire.

Patty is survived by her mother, Trinidad Santana, and her father, Alfonso Saldivar Jr. She will be forever remembered by her siblings; Virginia Saldivar and her husband Adam Lee Olvera, Alfonso Saldivar III and his wife Sandra Campuzano, and Yvonne Saldivar and her husband Dustin James Montemayor. She is also survived by her 10 nieces and nephews; Lorena Lee, Samantha Lee, Adam Lee Jr., Alexandra Lee, Olivia Lee, Jordan Lee, Aiyana Faith, Leilani Marie, Analise Rae, and Mikaela Eve; and is also survived by 8 great-nieces and great-nephews; Moises Lee Jr., Anthony Lee, Victoria Lee, Melanie Lee, Adam Lee III, Lorenzo Lee, Noah Lee, and Nicolas Lee.

Patty was predeceased by her paternal grandparents; Alfonso and Emilia Saldivar, by her maternal grandfather, Ramon Santana Jr., her nieces; Ailani Saldivar and Cassandra Saldivar, and by several wonderful aunts, uncles, and cousins in both the Santana and Saldivar Family.

A viewing will be held on Thursday, April 27, 2023, from 12 P.M. until 5:00 P.M. for family and from 5:00 P.M. until 9:00 P.M. for friends at the Good Shepherd Funeral Home.
