Pedro Contreras

Pedro “Pete” Contreras Jr., 64, entered into eternal rest on Saturday, September 11, 2021 in Bay City, Texas. He was born on September 19, 1956 in Harlingen, Texas to Pedro Contreras Sr. and Manuela Gomez Contreras.

He is preceded in death by his father, Pedro Contreras Sr., sister, Aurora DeLuna, and stepdaughter, Jamie McCardell. He is survived by his mother, Manuela Contreras, wife, Mary Contreras, sons, Joshua Contreras and David (Laura) Contreras, stepson, Emitt (Tracy Lynn) McCardell, daughter, Rebeckah (Jr) Gallardo, stepdaughter, Melanie McCardell, grandchildren, Alonzo, Justin, Luke, Mariana, Catalina, and Victoria, brother, Juan Jaime Contreras, sisters, Irene Olivarez, Yolanda Rodriguez, Mary Jane Diaz, Mary Ann Hernandez, and Bobbie Jean Contreras.

A graveside service will be held on Friday, October 29, 2021 at 11:00 A.M. at Raymondville Memorial Park Cemetery.

Funeral arrangements were entrusted to the caring hands of Good Shepherd Funeral Home, 1157 W. Hidalgo Ave., Raymondville, TX 78580.
