Rafael Espinosa Sr.

Rafael Espinosa Sr., 78, entered into eternal rest on Wednesday, November 22nd, 2023, in Raymondville, Texas.  He was born on October 24, 1945, in Mexico to Hermeregildo Espinosa and Atanacia Loredo Espinosa.

He is survived by his sons, Ralph (Delma) Espinosa Jr., and Rene (Amy Caceres) Espinosa, his grandchildren, Ronika (Gabriel) Cervantes, Victoria (Ruben) Aguilar, Michael (Julissa) Espinosa, Ray Justin Espinosa, and Roland Espinosa, and his 6 great grandchildren.

He is preceded in death by his loving wife Esther Espinosa, his parents, and his siblings.

A viewing was held on Saturday, November 25, 2023, from 4:00 P.M. until 9:00 P.M. at Good Shepherd Funeral Home, and resumed on Sunday, November 26, 2023, from 2 P.M. until 9 P.M. with a holy rosary at 7:00 P.M. at Good Shepherd Funeral Home. A funeral mass was held on Monday, November 27, 2023, at 2:00 P.M. at Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church. A funeral procession followed to his final place of rest next to his loving wife at Raymondville Memorial Park Cemetery.

Honored to serve as pallbearers were Ray Justin Espinosa, Roland Espinosa, Gabriel Cervantes, Michael Espinosa, Ruben Aguilar, and Fernando Cantu.
