Ramiro Cavazos, 72, entered into eternal rest on Sunday, May 18, 2025, in Harlingen, TX. He was born on August 9, 1952, in Lyford, TX, to the late Ruben Garcia Cavazos and Candelaria Nieto Cavazos.
He is survived by his wife, Lydia Rodriguez Cavazos, his sons, Ramiro Martin Cavazos (Cherie) and Roberto Noel Cavazos (Ana), his daughters Laura Lisa Cavazos Garza (Ruben) and Yezenia Bran Walder, his brothers, Ruben Noe Cavazos, Ricky Cavazos, and Roberto Cavazos (Alma), his sisters, Diana Cavazos Chavez (Rudy), Dora Cavazos Casto (Rick) and Gina Cavazos Flores (Ruben), his grandchildren, Richard Daniel Solis, Micaela Grace Cavazos, Juan Roberto Cavazos, Chelse Renee Cavazos, Lauren Gabrielle Cavazos, Camila Noelle Cavazos, Olivia Grace Garza, Laurel Grace Garza, Ruben Ray Garza, Jonah, Jayden and Jazpar Walder.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Ruben and Cadelaria Cavazos, and his brothers, Rolando Cavazos and Reynaldo Cavazos.
Viewing will be held on Wednesday, May 21, 2025, from 12 p.m. until 9 p.m. with a holy rosary at 6 p.m. and a prayer service at 7 p.m. at Good Shepherd Funeral Home. Funeral service will be held on Thursday, May 22, 2025, at 10 a.m. at Good Shepherd Funeral Home. All services will conclude at this time.
