Ricardo Gonzales

Ricardo Gonzales, 63, entered into eternal rest on Monday, July 22, 2024. He was born on April 6, 1961, in Raymondville, to Salvador Gonzales Sr. and Antonia Cavazos.

He is survived by his loving wife, Perla Posas Gonzales, his sons, Randy Gonzales, Johnny Gonzales (Diana), and Justin (Veronica) Herrera, his daughters, Brandie (Larry) Molina, Desiree Posas (Nasario Gonzales Jr.), and Samantha (Jordan) Mcintosh, his brothers, Salvador Jr. (Elva+), Gilbert (Rosie) Gonzales, Juan (Letty) Gonzales, and Ernesto (Gloria) Gonzales, his sisters, Sylvia (Paul) Hinojosa, Ofelia ( Roland) Cantu, Delia (Luis) Renaud, Susan + (Alex) Villarreal,  and his grandchildren, Alaina Herrera, Travis Herrera, Eli Moreno, Luke Sosa, Joseph Moya (JJ), Rylan Moya, Jase Mcintosh, Jake Mcintosh, and Mallory Mcintosh.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Salvador Sr. and Antonia Gonzales, his sister, Susan Villareal and his son, Justin Gonzales.

Honored to service as pallbearers are Rollie Cabrera, Oliver Ochoa, Jesse Quiroga, Benny Ochoa, George Guadiana Jr. and Hunter Posas. Honorary pallbearers are Eli Moreno, Luke Sosa, Travis Herrera, Jase Mcintosh, Jake Mcintosh, J.J. Moya, and Rylan Moya.

Firefighters assisting are Chief Oscar Gutierrez, Randy Salinas, John Rodriguez, Eric Moreno, Eloy Zamorano and Hector Rodriguez.

Viewing will be held on Friday, July 26, 2024, from 9 a.m. until 9 p.m. with a holy rosary at 7 p.m. at Good Shepherd Funeral Home. A funeral mass will be held on Saturday, July 27, 2024, at 10 a.m. at Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church. Interment followed to his final place of rest at the Raymondville Memorial Park Cemetery.
