Romualdo Ramírez Casique, de 76 años, entró en el descanso eterno el domingo 1 de marzo de 2026 en Harlingen, TX. Nació en Valle Hermoso, Tamaulipas, MX, el 7 de febrero de 1950, hijo de Guadalupe D. Cacique y Ma de Jesús Ramírez.

Era un hombre dedicado y trabajador que pasó muchos años en la agricultura, trabajando con orgullo codo a codo con sus hijos durante más de 20 años. Su fuerte ética de trabajo y su compromiso con proveer a su familia eran evidentes en todo lo que hacía. Más allá de su trabajo, tenía un amor especial por los gatos y encontraba gran alegría en cuidarlos. Sobre todo, era un hombre de familia devoto cuyo amor, guía y presencia constante serán profundamente extrañados por todos los que lo conocieron.
Le sobreviven su amada esposa, Rosa Figueroa de Cacique, sus hijos, Romualdo F. Cacique Jr., Cirilo Misael Cacique y Fidencio Cacique, sus hijas, Rosa María Cacique, Luciana Cacique Figueroa y Yesenia Figueroa Cacique, dos hermanas, Leonor Cacique y San Juana Cacique, sus 7 nietos y 3 bisnietos.

Romualdo Ramirez Casique, 76, entered into eternal rest on Sunday, March 1, 2026, in Harlingen, TX.  He was born in Valle Hermoso Tamaulipas, MX., on February 7, 1950, to Guadalupe D. Cacique and Ma De Jesus Ramirez.

He was dedicated and hardworking man who spent many years in agriculture, proudly working side by side with his sone for over 20 years. His strong work ethic and commitment to providing for his family were evident in everything he did. Beyond his work, he had a special love for cats and found great joy in caring for them. Above all, he was a devoted family man whose love, guidance, and steady presence will be deeply missed by all who knew him.

He is survived by his loving wife, Rosa Figueroa de Cacique, his sons, Romualdo F. Cacique Jr., Cirilo Misael Cacique, and Fidencio Cacique, his daughters, Rosa Maria Cacique, Luciana Cacique Figueroa, and Yesenia Figueroa Cacique, two sisters, Leonor Cacique and San Juana Cacique, his 7 grandchildren, and by 3 great grandchildren.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Guadalupe and Ma de Jesus Cacique.

Viewing will be held on Wednesday, March 4, 2026, from 11 a.m. until 9 p.m. with a prayer service at 7 p.m. at Good Shepherd Funeral Home.  Funeral service will be held on Thursday, March 5, 2026, at 1 p.m. at Good Shepherd Funeral Home. Interment will follow to his final place of rest at the Raymondville Memorial Park Cemetery.
