Rosa (Molina) Quilantan

Rosa Molina Quilantan, 79, entered into eternal rest on Monday, July 28, 2025.  She was born on May 2, 1946, in Willacy County to Federico and Carlota Molina.

She is survived by daughters, Cynthia N. Gonzales, Elma A. Reyna, Criselda Quilantan, and Michelle Castaneda, her brothers, Juan (Juanita) Molina, Mario (Betty) Molina, Margarito (Norma) Molina, and Richard Molina, her sister, Florestella Molina, her grandchildren, Anthony (Tiannie) Quilantan, Luis M. Vasquez, Rebecca R. Quilantan, Krista (Anthony) Bella, Laura L. Vasquez, Joseph R. Reyna, Matthew Reyna, Nathan Reyna, Daphney (Ricardo) Segura, Karla (Joaquin) Gonzales, Brandon Castaneda, and Brielle Castaneda, and by 7 great grandchildren.

She is proceeded in death by her loving husband, Antonio Gil Quilantan, her parents, Federico and Carlota Molina, her sisters, Frances (Mel) Gonzales and Natalia Perez, and her brother, Federico Molina Jr.

Honored to serve as pallbearers are Anthony Quilantan, Luis M. Vasquez, Anthony J. Bella, Joaquin Gonzales, James Frasier Jr., and Nathan Reyna. Honorary pallbearers are Matthew Reyna, Joseph Reyna, Bron Bella, Jax Gonzales, Rolando Gonzales, and Efrain Perez Jr.

Viewing will be held on Friday, August 1, 2025, from 2 p.m. until 9 p.m. with a holy rosary at 7 p.m. at Good Shepherd Funeral Home.  Funeral mass will be held on Saturday, August 2, 2025, at 11 a.m. at Prince of Peace Catholic Church in Lyford. Interment will follow to her final place of rest next to her loving husband at the Lyford Evergreen Cemetery.
