Sigifredo Montemayor Villarreal, 88, entered into eternal rest on Sunday, September 26, 2021 surrounded by his family at his residence in Sebastian, Texas. He was born on October 4, 1932 in Mexico to Hipolito Montemayor and Plutarca Villarreal.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Hipolito Montemayor and Plutarca Villarreal, wife, Maria Sanjuana Villarreal de Montemayor, and sisters, Idolina Castillo and Evangelina Chapa. He is survived by his sons, Sigifredo Montemayor, Hipolito Montemayor, Raymundo Montemayor, Miguel Angel Montemayor and Juan Luis Montemayor, daughters, Maria Ana Montemayor and Yesenia Montemayor, brothers, Jose Candelario Montemayor and Manuel Montemayor, sisters, Maria Arcelia Jones, Carolina M. Perez, Felisa M. Valdez, Maria Elena Montemayor, Flor Esthela Montemayor, Martha S. Reyes, and Odilia Cortez, grandchildren, Merary, Edward, Stephany, Nalaly, Melisa, Angel, Erick, Cindy, Ana, Marisol, Amanda, Vivian, and Juan, and 9 great grandchildren.

Viewing was held on Tuesday, September 28, 2021 from 2:00 P.M. until 9:00 P.M. with a rosary at 6:00 P.M. at Good Shepherd Funeral Home. A chapel service was held today, Wednesday, September 29, 2021 at 10:00 A.M. at Good Shepherd Funeral Home. All services concluded following the chapel service.
