Sylvia Ann Prado, 68, departed on her heavenly journey on Friday, April 18, 2025, in Harlingen, Texas. Born on December 2, 1956, in Raymondville, she was the daughter of the late Jose Perez Prado and Isabel Gonzalez. Her son, Christopher Lee Peña, welcomed her to eternity.
She is survived by her daughters, Maricela (Juan) Bermudez, Monica (Rolando) Villasana, and Norma (Amy) Pena, her siblings, Olga Arias, Margot (Robert) Perez, Edna C. Garcia, John Urias, Christella Urias and Melissa Urias., her grandchildren, Anthony Arjona, Amber Pena, Heidi Diaz, Jose Angel Pena, Christopher L. Pena Jr., Natalie R. Pena, Christian L. Pena, John D. Villasana, Rolando Villasana Jr., Jose Cortez and 9 great grandchildren.
Viewing will be held on Tuesday, April 22, 2025, from 12 p.m. until 9 p.m. with a holy rosary at 7 p.m. at Good Shepherd Funeral Home. Funeral mass will be held on Wednesday, April 23, 2025, at 11 a.m. at Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church. All services will conclude at this time.
