Tomasa Lara

Tomasa Lara, 79, entered into eternal rest on Monday, February 26, 2024, in Harlingen, Tx.  She was born on March 27, 1944, in Mexico, to Arcadia Rosales.

She is survived by her daughters, Ramona Lara, Guadalupe (Rosendo) Rodriguez and their 2 children, Maria Luisa (Frank) Martinez and their 4 children, and Yolanda (Santos) Reyna and their 7 children, and by her sons, Narciso (Raquel) Patlan and their 3 children, Rodolfo (Teresa) Patlan and their 3 children, Gilberto (Betty) Ortiz and their 3 children, Benjamin (Julia) Ortiz and their 6 children, Jose (Rachel) Martinez and their 4 children, David (Melissa) Martinez and their 9 children, and Candelario (Rosa) Patlan and their 7 children.

Honored to serve as pallbearers are Narciso Patlan, Rodolfo Patlan, Gilberto Ortiz, Benjamin Ortiz, Jose Martinez, David Martinez, and Yanni Martinez.

Visitation will be held on Saturday, March 2, 2024, from 12 p.m. until 9 p.m., at Good Shepherd Funeral Home and will resume on Sunday, March 3, 2024, from 1 p.m. until 9 p.m. with a prayer service at 7 p.m. at Good Shepherd Funeral Home. A funeral service will be held on Monday, March 4, 2024, at 10 A.M. at Good Shepherd Funeral Home. Interment will follow to her final resting place at the Raymondville Memorial Park Cemetery.
