Vidal "Billy Boy" Castro Jr.

Billy Castro, 48, entered into eternal rest on Saturday, August 24, 2024, in Harlingen, TX.  He was born on June 21, 1976, in Raymondville, to Vidal Castro Sr. and Alicia Flores Castro.  

He is survived by his loving wife, Janie Gallardo Castro, his sons, JJ Castro, J.R. Perez, his daughters, Vianca Castro, Anika Castro, Kayden Castro, Sabrina (Jesus) Turrubiates, Serena Perez, and Saray Perez, his father, Vidal Billy Castro Sr., his brother, Jaime Castro, his sisters, Franchesca Castro and Adriana Castro, 6 grandchildren, and 1 great grandchild.

He is preceded in death by his mother, Alicia F. Castro.

Honored to serve as pallbearers are Billy Castro Sr., Jaime Castro, John Perez III, Robert Luna Jr., Felix Coronado, Josue (Junie) Garcia Jr., Guadalupe (Sonny) Hernandez III, and Santiago (Jimmy) Ramirez. Honorary pallbearers are Gavino Ramirez, Peter Flores, Jesse Boy Castro, and Leroy Zaller.

Visitation will be held on Tuesday, August 27, 2024, from 1 P.M. until 9 P.M. with a prayer service at 7 P.M. at Good Shepherd Funeral Home. A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, August 28, 2024, at 2 p.m. at Good Shepherd Funeral Home. Interment will follow to his final place of rest at the Raymondville Memorial Park Cemetery.
