Viola DeLuna

Viola DeLuna, 89, entered into eternal rest on Thursday, February 20, 2025, in Harlingen, TX. She was born on August 8, 1935, in Norias Ranch, TX, to Nicolas and Romana G. Rodriguez.

She is survived by her nieces and nephews, and numerous great nieces and nephews.

She is preceded in death by her husband, Gilbert DeLuna, her parents, Nicolas and Romana G. Rodriguez, her brothers, Pedro Rodriguez, Roberto Rodriguez, Nicolas Rodriguez Jr., Ruben Rodriguez, and Rosendo Rodriguez, and her sister, Ofelia Salazar.

Visitation will be held on Sunday, February 23, 2025, from 2 p.m. until 9 p.m. with a holy rosary at 6 p.m. at Good Shepherd Funeral Home. Funeral service will be held on Monday, February 24, 2025, at 2 p.m. at Good Shepherd Funeral Home. Interment will follow to her final place of rest at the Raymondville Memorial Park Cemetery.
